The Ride
Deep Dive 2022 is a memorial event. Every year we try to recognize a Combat Diver that's no longer with us. This year we remember Staff Sergeant James Moriarty, killed in action on November 4th, 2016 while serving in Jordan with 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne).
Jimmy was a Combat Diver and Dive Supervisor. His life had impacts far beyond his immediate circle and we think that's history worth preserving. Join us at Deep Dive 2022 as we celebrate his life and career.
The Deep Dive 2022 Memorial Ride will feature stops at some fantastic venues in the picturesque Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Pensacola area.
The Route
The route and participating venues are still being developed but it is approximately a three-hour loop that starts and ends at the Flora-Bama Lounge.
The Ride Package
The ride package includes:
- Deep Dive 2022 Event T-shirt
- Deep Dive 2022 Commemorative Coin
- Access bracelet for all participating venues
Schedule
- 24 September 10 AM; ride begins at the Flora-Bama
- ~1 PM the thunder returns just in time for the informal Deep Dive 2022 festivities!
